# Muggill.com — One Name, Nine Generations

> A single-page family history tracing the Mug → Mugg → Muggill surname across nine generations and 316 years: from the Catholic enclave of Kloosterburen in Groningen, the Netherlands (1710), through emigration to Tippecanoe County, Indiana (c. 1850s), Chicago, Akron, and California, to Arlington, Virginia today. Built from a 114-person GEDCOM family tree with citations to Dutch civil registration, US records, and the 1914 Purdue yearbook.
